Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 27, 2026
I want everyone to be able to use this site. It aims to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA. The Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, require this.
Accessibility features
The site has not had a formal third-party audit. These are the features I built in and tested myself, with Lighthouse and by hand.
- Works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Uses headings, landmarks and labels that screen readers can follow.
- Gives images text alternatives and icon-only links accessible names.
- Keeps text contrast at AA level in both light and dark themes.
- Adapts to phones, to browser zoom up to 200%, and to larger text settings.
- Respects the "reduce motion" setting of your device.
Known limitations
- Some interactive math figures in blog posts are visual only. Each one sits next to text that explains the same idea.
- Embedded YouTube videos rely on YouTube's own player and captions, which I don't control.
